I am providing tuning, voicing, regulation, and repair services for grand and upright pianos in Raleigh and within a 50 mile radius of Raleigh, NC.

I am using the most advanced computer technology to deliver a quality tuning service.  Tuning technology has gone far beyond tuning forks or spinning wheels. State of the art technology now gives us visual spectrum analysis of the note's wave form, allowing us to see wave shape, phase relationship between strings, purity, or distortion of the note played.  With this technology, I can easily change the normal 6:3 tuning in the bass to an 8:4 for a deeper sound (possibly desired in a large grand) and change the normal 2:1 tuning in the treble to a 4:2 tuning for a brighter tone, while maintaining an offset if needed and still compensating for the piano's unique inharmonicity characteristics.  I combine this technology with aural skills (listening to octaves,  fourths, and fifths) to check my interpretation or the technology and fine-tune your piano.
