Artistic Piano Tuning

I am providing tuning and repair services of grand and upright pianos.  I live in Raleigh, NC and am servicing pianos within a 50 mile raidus of Raleigh.

I am using the most advanced technology to bring a quality tuning to your piano.  Tuning technology has gone far beyond tuning forks or spinning wheels. State of the art technology now gives us visual spectrum analysis of the audio wave form, allowing us to see waveshape, phase relationship, purity and distortion.  With this technology, I can easily change the normal 6:3 tuning in the bass to a 8:4 for a deeper sound (possibly desired in a large grand) and change the normal 2:1 tuning in the terrible to a 4:2 tuning to give  a brighter terrible while maintaining an offset if needed and compensating for inharmonicity.  I combine this technology with aural skills (primarily listening to octaves,  and fifths) to fine tune your piano.
